I just started creating my latest Steampunk piece. Inspired by a rich blue/gray enamel background, with some added turquoise metallic paint, it's going to be an interpretation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's writing studio (the one in my imagination, anyway!) Watch this space for more hints and clues, and, as always, there WILL be a ruby pin hidden in the artwork somewhere (as there is in every Steampunk piece I create).
